Here's to Weezie Boyle Rubino -- expert blog commentator -- whose husband insisted on driving to Roscommon County tonite to visit the town which bears the name of Weezie's ancestors. And a grand and friendly place it was. This is a photo of Boyle Abbey which is being renovated in the town center.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for taking the time and the gas to go see my castle (or abbey, but castle sounds more regal)!!! I'm so glad that the Roscommoners are putting the $$ and energy into renovating my building...glad that they have their priorities straight!! I'm sure this will become an AAA travel guide spot to visit in Ireland this Spring!
